Launch PhotoEchoes, sit back, and let the application provide a wonderful visual experience. You see, PhotoEchoes is a digital kaleidoscope for Windows. It will take an image and use it to present something amazing. Check out the video and the screenshots that accompany this review to see what I’m going on about.

Any modern PC and even older PCs will have no problems meeting this application’s system requirements. They are as follows: 1GHz processor or better, DirectX 7 or newer, Windows media player for background music, Windows operating system (XP, Vista, 7, 8), a collection of pictures.

Thanks to a setup wizard you will have no problems installing PhotoEchoes on your PC. Once the setup wizard is done with the installation process, when PhotoEchoes is run for the first time, you will be invited to select a location that contains photos. The application will use these photos to create animated images.

There’s not much to say about using PhotoEchoes. Just run the application and it will immediately go to work. It will look in the location you select, pick a photo, and use it to create an animated image. Just sit back and enjoy the show. Don’t want to sit back? In that case, you can pick a custom image and use it, you can play with the settings, you can capture the image, and more.

Please note that PhotoEchoes is free to try. The trial displays a message on the screen and places a watermark on all captured images.

If you’re a fan of kaleidoscopes, PhotoEchoes is worth it. The digital kaleidoscope offers a great visual experience.

Pros

The system requirements for running PhotoEchoes are very low. A setup wizard will help you quickly get PhotoEchoes up and running on your PC. There are several settings to play with. You can capture the image; you can capture video. PhotoEchoes can be used as a screensaver.

Cons

Trial limitations: message on the screen, watermark on captured images.
